Rukshan Fernando

Welcome the boundaries of creativity and innovation. His career is marked by significant achievements, including handling Sri Lanka’s first Real Estate Magazine for over five years, a testament to his expertise and dedication. In 2013, he undertook the monumental task of designing the Grand Hotel Coffee Table book, a two-year project that showcased his ability to deliver complex and high-quality design solutions. Rukshan’s experience extends beyond Sri Lanka, having worked for seven years in Dubai with McGettigan’s Irish Pubs, the largest pub chain in the region. His international exposure has enriched his creative repertoire, allowing him to seamlessly blend global trends with local insights. Even today, he continues to work with clients in Dubai, Ireland, and the UK, demonstrating his enduring impact and relevance in the industry. At Ark Design Lab, Rukshan serves as our Creative Director, where his hands-on approach ensures that every project meets the highest standards of excellence. His deep understanding of both print and digital media, combined with his strategic creativity, enables us to craft solutions that truly resonate with our clients’ audiences. Rukshan’s vision aligns perfectly with our mission at Ark Design Lab: to turn our clients’ visions into reality through innovative design solutions. Diverse experience working with local clients small, medium scale to corporates and international clients spanning USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Germany.

Professional Photographer & Creative Consultant

Kesara Rathnavibushana

He specialises in architectural photography, fashion, select events & weddings in parallel with commissioned art projects. He was recently commissioned by Rolex SA for shoots in India & exhibited his Unfolding Tesseract series of images printed onto large format handloom tapestries, in Dubai. Kesara’s father, Anura Ratnavibhushana was a lifelong friend & confidant of Geoffery Bawa. Kesara’s background involved a constant exposure to extraordinary creative individuals including Bawa, Ulrik Plesner, Karan Grover, Barbara Sansoni, Ena de Silva & countless others, helping him form a world view that shapes his work today.
